1. Self Affirmations. Think about statements you wish you heard in your childhood. This can be statements from caregivers, friends, or teachers. Write down the statements. Begin saying these to yourself every day.
2. Values. Think about what is most important to you in your life. Things that really matter to you. Perhaps it is family, adventure, money, success, independence, meaningful work, freedom, security, relationships, health, love etc., the list is endless. Write down the top five, and build your schedule around these values for the next 30 days.
3. Staying present. Each day pick an activity that allows you to be in the moment. Read a book, listen to new music with which you have no associations, get good at asking curiousity questions from a family member, and engage in the moment.
